Step numbers at the start of the line guide people through a process, one section at a time.
Label with an icon
An icon and a short label turn a plain line into a signpost for new or featured content.
Between two parts of an article, a soft fading line with a small ornament gives the reader a pause without shouting.
By the time we reached the harbor the rain had stopped, and the fishing boats were knocking gently against the wall like they were trying to get our attention. We found the café by its smell before we saw it.
Nobody said much over breakfast. We had walked eleven miles the day before and our legs had opinions about it.
Three days later, on the other side of the island, it was the heat we could not stop talking about.
